Peter Downey of the Princeton Insurance Support Services Department participated in the 2008 Anchor House Ride for Runaways in July, marking his second time as a cyclist in the annual fundraiser.
In recognition of a generous donation made by Princeton Insurance, Peter was given a plaque which he presented to Princeton Insurance President & CEO Charlie Lefevre as a "thank you" from Anchor House, a Trenton-based multi-service agency for runaway, homeless, abused and at-risk children and their families.
"On behalf of Anchor House, I'd like to present you with this plaque that expresses gratitude to Princeton Insurance for donating to the 2008 Anchor House Ride for Runaways," said Peter.
Charlie accepted the plaque and said Princeton Insurance is proud to support such an important event.

This year the event celebrated its 25th anniversary and featured a special celebration for the cyclists when they reached the two millionth mile ridden since the Ride for Runaways first began.
